For 2009 the cut off time for point scoring on Sundays has increased by an hour to 16:00. Please note that any times recorded after 16:00 will not count.

For round one this Sunday we will be trialling running as a group. There will be three opportunities to compete together at 11:00, 12:30 and 14:30. All you need to do is assemble at the start of the firing lane together at these times and then everyone will be run as a group. If anyone wants to run outside of these times then their et's will still count until the 16:00 cut off.

Lastly, LA Racing Parts are putting up a cash prize fund for competitors using Mickey Thompson tyres (MT's) purchased from them. The cash prize will equal 10% of all sales of MT's to PSDS competitors by LA Racing Parts, between now and the end of the 2009 season. To be eligible you need to run MT tyres purchased from LA Racing Parts and you need to display LA Racing Parts logo stickers on your car during PSDS Rounds. You can enter at any time during the season and the winner will basically be the highest scoring LA Racing Parts customer of Mickey Thompson tyres in the overall Series . Stickers will be available on race days or through the post from Robin Greaves (r33rob). Full details will be posted on the forum soon.

Are the marshalls going to hold the RWYB cars while we move down the middle queuing lane to the starting lights together?

This would be great if it's busy and we get to pair off against other cars running in the series

I'm not sure exactly how it will work out on the day, but we'll soon find out! It will definately be good to pair up with other competitors though and will make good viewing.

I was gutted with the 16:00 cut off as I was sat in the traffic from 3:20 to get in a run - only to miss the cut-off and my fastest time of the day. I guess I'll be more organised next round
