After going too fast this year, breaking out of my usual 12 second class and destroying any hope of holding onto my Street class title, I decided to go all out, lose more weight, change my tyres and run as fast as I can and just see what happens with the points league.

In the 3rd round I set a new PB of 11.97, missed the 4th round due to my wife being in hospital, but then went to Santa pod and ran consistent 11.9s and 11.8s, but I managed to find a new PB of 11.76 on my final run of the day (10 runs in total!!!)
I'm delighted with that, especially considering its just still a stage 1 R33 GTR with standard ceramic turbos running 1 bar, standard 444 injectors and stock engine :)

So, in this up and coming 5th round, my last outing for the season until next year, I've decided to lose even more weight and that means the front passenger seat will be coming out.
I understand this puts me in Pro class, which doesn't bother me one way or the other, but will my number change from SDS 11 to PDS 11 for the day or will you just note I'm in Pro class?

I have no race number decals on the car, so either PDS or SDS can be written onto the rear screen.

Can someone let know?

Ta
Cliff

Have you got a target time that you think is achievable?

Removing the seat will put me in Pro class. Not a problem, I just want to try for an 11.6 and see what happens :D
My new R888s have got my 0-60fts down into the low 1.6s now, and if it all comes together there's an 11.6 to be had..........god willing and hail Mary

That's the problem Dazza, my standard turbos are huffing and puffing, where as yours is still shouting abuse at you and asking for more more more over the finish line  I'm only doing 116mph terminal speeds.
I was running a few 1.7 0-60fts, but mostly 1.8s on the Falken 452s, but now with these 285 wide R888s a 1.7 just feels wrong :D 1.620 is my best so far and my PB was with a 1.640 :)

Its going to be a fun weekend with quite a few people trying for PB's. My PB from last season was achieved in Round 5 and I havent been able to break it all year.

11.09@133.07 with a 1.849 60'

but Ive been running 1.7 and 1.6 60's all year and last weekend I did a 11.1108@136.91 with a 60' of 1.9576 so we are back on track, and looking good :D

Dazza I see the race is still on then :)

Can't wait m8, just got to decide which to do first now.
Cosworth cams, valves and springs etc, bigger turbo, nos,
or all of the above, lol.
