We used to remove the front anti-roll bars on racing alfasuds to improve handling as it gives it more 'independant' suspension,

Not sure it would help straight line launches as you would want both sides to compress at the same time in a launch,

Mind you am not sure a rear antiroll bar contributes much or anything in a straight line anyway and so might be a weight saving to just remove it,

weight saving is a good thing...
just want to make sure the car doesn't become
unstable at high speed..

I dont run them, front or rear... but FWD is a bit different.

Ive taken both off mine. Hard to tell if its made a difference on the launch, dont think it has tbh. It did used to sway quite a bit with them off until I changed the shocks.

I just took them off to save weight really.
