Also as part of this meet we're running a Bracket Gamblers Race too where the winner of a 32 car ET Bracket could be going home with a sizeable prize purse. The Yanks do it so why not us (its also testing the waters for next season, but don't tell anyone). More on this race will be released in due course. Furthermore if you're coming for the weekend then popular raceway rock band 'Straight-Up' will be playing in the bar till late. Here's the ad...

1 of them things Gaz , i knew i was pushing every limit to be fair, it did well to last this long, so it was no real suprise, shame it went when it did though.

a new freshly built 2.1 stroked closed deck block is now on the cards with a few extra goodies , still same turbo though. but will be running more boost, hoping for an extra 40 ish bhp for next year.

all being built by martyn J and his fathers company www.enginetuner.co.uk

is that more discount Mart ? :D :D

So to take part in the CHS Ashes do I need to do anything, sign up anywhere, see somebody?>

Or is it just a number of qualifiers then the team is selected....

Hi

Just add you name and race number to the list, turn up, sign on as you were at a normal PSDS round, run some numbers then after a certain time in the day we'll pull off all the best times for each driver and match them up as evenly as possible with the Flat Fours and then the competition begins. Its as simple as that.

Unfortunately today's planned running of the CHP Ashes was cancelled and now put on hold until 2010 due to adverse weather conditions. With the track, and much of England hit by heavy rain and high winds there was absolutely no way we could run the days events. Not the way I would like to have ended a successful season but we can't help the weather. See you all in 2010 in April 4th/5th - Easter weekend.

With the weather I didn't bother making the journey today either, so that's definately it for this year.

It certainly is time to get the spanners out now, got lots of work planned for the winter period, just hope I get it all finished by next April!

I took a run up in the afternoon, looked like it was drying out, didn't think it would be on but needed to take the wheels for a blast anyway.

Sorry that you had a wasted journey John. I saw you turn up, drive round the pits, call someone and drive back off again. All observed while gathering all the cones and boards in for the winter.
